In sharing the video below, let me be clear in stating that I am not (NOT) endorsing the Muslim Antichrist theory that has gained traction in some circles of the bible prophecy community recently.
Having stated that, while I am not of the opinion that the biblically prophesied Antichrist and the Islamic Mahdi are one and the same, virtually all followers of end times prophecy are in agreement that Iran (Persia in Ezekiel 38:5) is going to play a prominent role in the fulfillment of end times bible prophecy via its role in the future Gog-Magog conflict.
As Joel Rosenberg makes clear in the video, America and the world needs to be taking the threat posed by Iran, its provocative nuclear weapons program and end times ideologies FAR more seriously than is presently the case. In fact, it simply boggles my mind that, after all of the years of talking to Iran about its collective commitment to preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, the international community's continuing approach to addressing the mounting crisis clearly before us all is to talk to Iran some more, the mere mention of which led to Iran almost immediately testing advanced missile systems capable of delivering nothing less than nuclear warheads. What does this prove to us? In my humble opinion, it proves there are some fanatical people in the world that no amount of talk or even threats are going to deter from behaving in an evil manner.
My friends, while I am a Christian and no fan of war, the time for chit chat has long passed and yet, from where I'm sitting, it seems clear that nothing short of a mushroom cloud rising into the sky after thousands of human beings have been vaporized is going to snap the international community into any sort of genuine action.
If I were president of the United States of America right now, I would be preparing a strike on Iran alongside Israel (and anyone else willing to participate) that would guarantee Iran didn't get a nuclear weapon regardless of the degree of force necessary to ensure that end result because there is NO doubt - none whatsoever - that Iran is going to try and lead the world to Armageddon, at least under the leadership of its present government.
Military strike or no military strike, Iran will remain a threat
While a military strike or strikes against Iran may yet come to pass, the one thing we can be certain of is that Iran is going to remain militarily viable, or have enough time after any such event to become militarily viable once again, in order to fulfill its role as a major participant in the Gog-Magog invasion attempt to come in the prophetic future.
Iran poses a genuine threat, but watch out for those crazy Christians!
In closing, isn't it ironic how many people of anti-Christian sentiment love to toss out the possibility that Christians, because of our desire to see Christ return, might try and cause Armageddon to occur, which is not only comical but physically impossible, yet there is virtually no concern on the part of these same types that an actual leader of a nation is both seeking nuclear weapons and OPENLY desirous of destroying Israel at the very least? It's almost surreal to witness how deluded mankind is these days, this being a prime example.
Could our world possibly get any crazier than it presently is? Unfortunately yes - and it's most certainly going to according to bible prophecy, which is why so many of us plead, "Come quickly, Lord Jesus!"
