What is with all the fawning over Islam lately?

Everywhere I look governments and churches are falling over themselves trying to appease Muslims. We’re told in presidential speeches how Islam was one of the things that contributed to making our country great today, how it’s a religion of peace and how terribly they have been treated over the years.

Which Islam are they talking about?

Not the Islam I’m familiar with.

You know; the Islam spread by the sword. The one founded by Muhammad. The one that says unbelievers must submit to Islam, be enslaved or die. The one that beheads Christians, should they dare not convert. The one that says I can throw acid in my wife’s face if she does something I don’t like. The one that says I can beat or even kill my child for honor. The one that relentlessly attacked areas of Europe and Asia until the people were forced to take up arms, in The Crusades, in order to stop its spread.

Some of these above statements may sound unfamiliar to you. Well, that would be because today’s world doesn’t think much of historical fact. It likes to make up stuff as it goes and fill in the gaps later. That’s why public school is getting so unpopular and home schooling is picking up.

You see, somewhere along the line, our leaders decided it was more ‘fiscally sound’ to not fight an enemy but do what you can to make him happy, in the hope that he’ll calm down and realize you’re not so bad. Of course, to subscribe to this theory you have to do one small thing……re-write history and forget that your enemy was the one who started this mess and will never stop trying to enslave or destroy you. Both outcomes are just fine with them.

I’m wondering at what point it was that the world suddenly lost its collective mind.

The blinders are truly on.

And before anyone writes me back in some whiny voice saying ‘you know Eric, the crusaders committed all kinds of atrocities too’, let me just say that I’m well aware of that fact. However, that doesn’t change two key points.

1) That doesn’t change what started the Crusades.

2) The Bible did NOT tell those men to commit acts of terrible violence to bring people to Christ……..............the Quran, however, says that Muslims are completely justified in waging war for the furthering of Allah’s religion.

Muslims rely on a long tradition of changing history to justify their actions. They’ll explain to you that jihad is for defense. Then they’ll use any current situation, to which they are not being catered to, as an attack on their religion, thereby creating the ‘defensive’ situation required to justify jihad.

On September 11, 2001, four commuter planes were used as missiles to attack an unsuspecting nation. There was no current situation meriting this type of response from Islam.

No troops ‘invading’ Iraq.

No troops ‘invading’ Afghanistan.

No troops ‘invading’ Pakistan.

No mass killing of Muslims.

The men who did this would have you believe that it was retaliation for past transgressions. Here is where the nature of the beast is truly exposed. Muslims justify any time they attack someone by mentioning how some time ago some wrong was done to them and now, years later, and without warning they have decided to wage their jihad.

One of the reasons stated for this mass murder of innocents was the fact that sanctions killed some unverifiable number of Iraqi children.

Why were sanctions imposed to begin with? Because of violent acts of aggression perpetrated by those who simply hate freedom-loving people, hate Israel and all who support her, and who believe that the world should be under the yoke of Islam. And just for the public school-educated, Saddam Hussein was the reason Iraqis died, not sanctions.

When Israel ‘mercilessly slaughtered’ the people in Lebanon, Muslims suddenly got amnesia, conveniently forgetting that Israel’s actions were in RESPONSE to constant rocket barrages coming from the area, not to mention the kidnapping of Israeli soldiers by………………Muslims.

When Israel gave concessions in the quest for peace, in the form of releasing prisoners (who had no reason to be released), uprooting their own people from their God given land by the hundreds of thousands, stopping their military response in Lebanon, and not responding to Scud missile attacks during the Gulf war, Muslims responded with…………… more rocket attacks.

Peace with their neighbors was never a Muslim intention. The goal is submission to Islam. That’s why when I see ignorant and, I believe, conniving, people trying to insinuate that Islam is this wonderful path to friendship, it makes my skin crawl.

Islam, a false religion concocted by a man who had clear knowledge of Judeo-Christian beliefs and created a god in his image writing his own bible and changing the parts that suited him, is one thing. The idea that Christ would want us to welcome this religion with open arms and work together with its followers is WRONG.

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
Galatians 1:7-9

As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
Galatians 1:8-10

They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.
John 16:1-3

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;

Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

Woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

If your pastor, minister, priest or church leader is telling you otherwise, tell them to take a hike.

Church, Christ did NOT intend for us to mingle with false prophets for the purpose of saving face because the alternative is uncomfortable.

Ask yourself how, in this country, there is a debate over whether a converted Christian child must be returned to her Muslim parents who may subject her to honor killing (It’s happened before, recently) and why the government seeks to pull children out of a Christian home because they are home-schooled and the state doesn’t like that they’re being taught Christianity alone. The compromising and ignorance has to stop.

As for the president’s assertion that Islam helped make this country great…

I DISAGREE, SIR!

Christianity is what made this country great! The unity of our faith under a righteous God.

And the more you kick him out, SIR, the more we will continue to fail.
