Just last night, briefly during a presentation I was making, I discussed the possible role September 11th played in taking us down the path to the emergence of a new world order and the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. No, there isn't anything recorded in scripture that describes the events of September 11th to make the case for that, but the images of that terrible day are forever etched into our minds: buildings falling, people leaping to their deaths to escape the hellish flames caused by the jet fuel, police officers and firefighters trying to cope with a situation circumstances would prove no one could've - and losing their lives in the process. Scores of innocent men, women and children guilty of nothing other than going to work, living their daily lives dead at the hands of an enemy that's near impossible to spot in a free society like ours. And after that? The "war on terror", now being referred to as the "ongoing overseas contingency" by our new politically correct president, which has seen our troops deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq, not to mention the high probability they've been places we have no idea they've been and never will, the nature and purpose of some military actions being secretive for reasons we have no valid need to know.

Where FEAR has taken us

Was September 11th of any prophetic significance? I believed it long ago and I do now because it created a fear in an entire generation of people, both in the United States and around the world, that great evil could be visited upon us when we least expected it, especially when we learned that horrific schemes are potentially in the works that could make September 11th pale in comparison.

I don't recall exactly when I wrote about September 11th and put it on the site's FAQ page, but it was near the site's birth. What I sensed at the time was the governments of the world were beginning to fear what could be next every bit as much as the common man was. They were wondering if somehow, perhaps through appeasement or sitting down for tea with our enemies, much like the Obama administration has tried to with Iranian madman Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, might change things.

Over a short period of time, many world leaders came to think, by satanic design in my opinion, the world needed to be more sympathetic to the "root causes" of Islam's hatred of the West, especially the United States.

It wasn't long after September 11th (early 2002) that this warped mentality began to take root in earnest. Hence, in an effort to better relations between radical Islam and the West, we saw the creation of the international Quartet occur, comprised of the United States, the European Union, the United Nations and Russia. Everyone in this group set as a goal getting the Iranian and Syrian-armed Palestinians some land to call their very own - land anyone with a thimble's worth of common sense had to know they'd use to continue their efforts to eliminate Israel from the face of the earth, but I digress.

Although there were a number of paths the Quartet considered taking to achieve their goal, the plan that got the most international press was President Bush's much-touted "road map to peace" - a plan I feared would bring our nation under judgment as it was the equivalent of slapping the Lord in the face concerning His everlasting covenant with Israel, not to mention the end result would surely be a curse to Israel, any new lands obtained by the Palestinians becoming a staging ground for them to launch more attacks against Israel. It didn't take a genius or anyone who knew anything about bible prophecy to suspect that. And why? Because it was a known that the Palestinians had always said, in their inner circles, they'd take whatever they could get through diplomacy and, once capable of finding even a remotely justifiable excuse to resume hostilities, do so that they could continue working toward Israel's demise.

Despite this common knowledge, in September of 2005, undoubtedly trying to appease both the Palestinians and the Quartet, Gaza was given over to the Palestinians. That's gone nicely as recent events have highlighted, hasn't it? And yet the cries from the international community continue to be lifted in opposition to Israel every time Israel acts militarily against their rocket-firing terrorist neighbors.

Land for peace didn't work with Gaza, but the world - including the United States - continues to plead with Israel to be patient and make concessions to the Palestinians so they can have a state of their own. In the fairy tale that is international diplomacy on this subject, the two of them will eventually reach an understanding and come to dwell side-by-side in "peace and security."

All of this, Christians, is a joke, isn't it? The West, particularly the United States, has reasons aplenty to be seeking the destruction of every radical Islamic element in existence in the world today. Prior to the Obama administration and its limp-wristed "ongoing overseas contingency" approach to dealing with whatever term we now use to describe radical Islamic terrorists, it seemed to me we were determined to fight with a reasonable amount of resolve UNLESS, of course, fighting "the war on terror" could be viewed in any manner as the United States aiding Israel.

Remember, in the post 9-11 era, we have to ask ourselves what's really causing all the animosity that led to September 11th! We can't afford to be perceived as overly sympathetic to Israel's struggles with our common enemies. That'd make those who hate us and want to destroy us along with Israel angrier than they already are with us, which would endanger everyone in the world who is a friend of ours as well. See how it works? As I wrote earlier, all of this is a joke authored by Satan and we, both the United States and the world, are becoming its punchline.

From Freedom To Tyranny

After the World Trade Center was destroyed, I believe most everyone in the United States hoped we'd clear the debris of the attacks and get to work on building something incredible to stand at or near the site of the attacks of September 11th as a signal to our enemies abroad that they'd picked a fight they never should've. Our spirit couldn't and wouldn't be broken!

When I heard they were going to build Freedom Tower and saw an artist's rendering of what it would look like upon completion, it made me proud.

Freedom Tower: Patriotic, gorgeous, courageous! Red, white and blue, baby! But guess what, folks? Things are changing at breakneck speed it seems. In recent months our nation's spirit has changed in manners I don't believe any of us could've imagined on September 12th, 2001.

Freedom Tower is out, as we see in a USA Today article. No, they haven't scrapped plans to build a tower; they've just changed its name to reflect where I've been documenting we're headed lately - from democracy to socialism, from freedom to tyranny.

The new official name of Freedom Tower? One World Trade Center and this because, according to a source quoted in the article, it's "the one that's easiest for people to identify with." I don't know about any of you, but I DO NOT find One World Trade Center easier "to identify with" than Freedom Tower! Freedom I identify with!I don't identify with one world anything.

I don't favor the one world currency that's going to be on the agenda of the G-20 summit a few days from now, the one world tax the United Nations would like to impose on us nor any form of one world government because I know - KNOW - where that path leads! Sooner or later, it will carry mankind to the Antichrist, the Tribulation Period, the mark of the beast and God's wrath being poured out, which is a fearful thing for me to consider whether I'm going to be here for it or not!

Now I know what some will wonder: Why resist, in any manner, current trends that will lead to all things prophesied, including our redemption and Christ's ultimate victory over evil? The answer? Simply put, because I haven't been relieved of duty yet! The Church hasn't yet completed its work nor has God's plan brought us to a juncture where our time to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world is over!

Bottom line, Church? We are on the road from freedom to tyranny, but God's Word makes it clear that our good works, fervent prayers and sharing of the Gospel play a role in God's plan! Who knows, for example, the impact a commentary like this might have today - or two days after the Rapture of the Church has occurred for that matter? While we can not prevent that which is foretold in bible prophecy from occurring, perhaps we can delay it for a time.

Remain at your duty stations, Church! Resist evil to whatever measure your body is capable of within the boundaries and circumstances God's Word permits. I'm not, in any manner, advocating that Christians act in a manner that would give those leading us down the crooked path we're on cause to justifiably look at us with contempt. No, I'm suggesting that we support 100% the principles our forefathers stood for when they wrote our Constitution, the overwhelming majority of those men being Christians, and be as Christ-like as we possibly can be in thought and deed. It's the only proper course we can take.

Hebrews 12:1-2: Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
